I hold the secrets as to why Tibet has not been freed since the taking of that land by Chinese forces in 1951. My mum’s elder sister Kamlesh Turner and her long term career with the NHS shows up a lot in my consciousness as someone who has been very abusive and jealous of and to our family since the 1980s when my mother got a divorce and settled for a Muslim man instead of my Hindu Punjabi father who Kamlesh liked and sided with in a family drama that has lasted decades.
